Rational Numbers

We are familiar with the word number, we use it more than a hundred times in our day to day life, lets learn on different types of number that is rational number. Have you heard of the term rational number?

Below you will find the definition of the term rational number and following will be an example of a rational number.

Definition of a Rational number:- Numbers that are expressed in fraction is called as a rational number. Any number which can be expressed as quotient of two integers is called as rational number. The denominator is not equal to zero. Eg:- x/y here y is not equal to zero, it may be equal to 1. Every integers is a rational number.
