Guys, the topic for the day is a bit different compared to that i do everyday. It is called Surds. First i will give you a brief information on what are surds and also discuss on how to add surds. I have explained regarding how to do surds in my previous post, check that once and increase your knowledge on surds.
Definition of Surd:- Surds are numbers which are left in the form of Square root. An irrational root of a positive rational number is called a surd. The reason for leaving them behind as surd is because in decimal form they go on forever and never end.
We leave surds in the form of decimal as they go on continuing or go on forever, this makes it difficult to write.
How to add Surds.
Addition of surds can be done only if the surds are of the same order. The radicals should also be the same.
Example of addition of surds:-
√5+√3=√8
There are many more concepts to be discussed on surds math problems which i will do it in every post coming up. Give me your views on this.
